Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete Supply Chain Management activities for building construction projects.
- Plan and coordinate procurement of construction materials as per project requirements and schedules.
- Coordinate with project, planning, engineering, stores, and site teams to understand material requirements.
- Source materials from approved vendors and suppliers and obtain quotations.
- Compare vendor quotations based on price, quality, delivery schedule, and commercial terms.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
- Monitor material availability and ensure materials reach the project site as per the construction schedule.
- Coordinate with the Stores/Inventory team for material receipt, stock levels, and consumption.
- Maintain proper records of purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, quotations, and vendor details.
- Follow up on pending orders, delayed deliveries, and material shortages.
- Develop and maintain valuable relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Assist in identifying alternative vendors and cost-effective procurement options.




- Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and project requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement status, pending materials, deliveries, and inventory.

Required Skills
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in SCM/Procurement in the construction industry.
- Building construction experience is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes.
- Experience in vendor management and supplier coordination.
- Knowledge of PO preparation, quotation comparison, material tracking, and inventory coordination.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and vendors.
- Willingness to work at a construction project site.

Qualification Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. Civil or related qualification preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, or other building construction projects will be preferred.
