PGT Science Teacher – Foundation Program

Job Summary

We are looking for a PGT Science Teacher to handle our Foundation Program for Grades 6–8. The role focuses on developing strong fundamentals in Science, encouraging scientific thinking, and building students' conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Science for students in Grades 6–8 under the Foundation Program.
- Strengthen students' fundamentals through concept-based and activity-oriented teaching.
- Explain scientific concepts in a simple, clear, and engaging manner.
- Conduct experiments, demonstrations, activities, and practical learning sessions where applicable.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, practice materials, and assessments.
- Conduct regular tests and monitor student performance.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional support and doubt-clearing sessions.
- Follow the academic plan, lesson schedule, and prescribed learning materials.
- Maintain student performance records and provide feedback to the academic team.
- Coordinate with school teachers, mentors, and the academic team.




- Encourage students to develop scientific curiosity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Support preparation for Olympiads, scholarship examinations, and other competitive-level assessments where applicable.

Qualification
- M.Sc./M.A. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or relevant Science specialization.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and positive English communication skills.

Experience
- Teaching experience in Science is preferred.
- Experience handling Grades 6–8 or Foundation/competitive-level Science will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good teaching ability may also be considered.

Candidate Requirements

- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to make complex concepts simple and engaging.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
- Willingness to relocate anywhere in Tamil Nadu based on program requirements.
- Flexible to work in different school environments.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
