We are seeking a motivated SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Consultant to join our SAP practice. The ideal candidate brings 3–4 years of hands-on SAP support experience with a strong focus on the SAP PM module, covering core maintenance processes, technical object management, and maintenance order processing. Understanding of SAP Project System (PS) is considered a distinct added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PM Core Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day application support for the SAP PM module, including incident management, root cause analysis, and change request handling

- Support configuration and maintenance of core PM objects including Equipment Masters, Functional Locations, Maintenance Notifications, Maintenance Orders, and Task Lists

- Assist in the setup and management of Preventive Maintenance (PM-PRM) plans, maintenance items, and scheduling strategies

- Support Maintenance Order Management (PM-WOC) processes including order creation, scheduling, confirmation, and completion

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage PM integration with related modules including Materials Management (MM), Finance & Controlling (FI/CO), Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM)

- Assist in data migration, testing cycles, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during S/4HANA transitions.

- Prepare end-user training materials and support training delivery for maintenance teams

Required Skills & Experience

SAP PM Module (Mandatory)

- 2–4 years of SAP support experience with direct hands-on involvement in the SAP PM / EAM module





- Solid understanding of SAP PM business processes including:

- Planned and immediate repair tasks

- Preventive and condition-based maintenance

- Refurbishment orders

- Test equipment calibration

- Hands-on experience with Technical Objects (Equipment Master, Functional Locations) and their configuration

- Working knowledge of Maintenance Order Management (PM-WOC): order creation, scheduling, resource planning, confirmations, and settlement

- Familiarity with Preventive Maintenance plan setup and maintenance scheduling (PM-PRM)

- Understanding of PM integration with MM, FI/CO, PP, PS and QM modules

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Asset Management capabilities, including SAP Fiori apps for maintenance execution

SAP PS Knowledge — Added Advantage

- Basic understanding of SAP Project System (PS) objects: Project Definition, WBS Elements, Networks, and Activities

- Awareness of the PM-PS integration scenario where maintenance orders are assigned to WBS elements for budget assignment and cost monitoring

- Familiarity with Purchase Requisition handling in the context of PM and PS integration (e.g., PR items generated from PM or PS source documents)

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Information Technology, or a related field
