Job Summary

We are looking for an SAP IS-Retail Functional Consultant with strong SAP MM expertise to support and enhance retail procurement and inventory processes. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, providing functional solutions, supporting production issues, and implementing enhancements and change requests across SAP Retail.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP IS-Retail implementation and support projects, along with a strong understanding of end-to-end retail procurement, inventory management, and integration processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide functional support for SAP IS-Retail and SAP MM business processes.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and prepare Functional Specifications (FS).
- Manage incidents, service requests, change requests, and system enhancements.
- Perform SAP configuration and coordinate with ABAP developers for WRICEF developments.
- Conduct Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including SD, FI, WM/EWM, and technical teams.
- Participate in Fit-Gap Analysis and requirement-gathering workshops.
- Prepare functional documentation and provide knowledge transfer to business users.
- Support master data activities, data migration, and integration with third-party retail applications.
- Support continuous improvement of retail procurement and inventory processes.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in SAP MM, with hands-on experience in SAP IS-Retail.




- Minimum one SAP IS-Retail Greenfield Implementation experience.
- Solid understanding of SAP IS-Retail business processes.

- Merchandise Category & Merchandise Hierarchy
- Assortment Management
- Vendor Master
- Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO)
- Stock Transport Orders (STO)
- Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI)
- Physical Inventory
- Inventory Management
- Basic Retail Pricing
- IDoc Configuration
- POS and third-party application integration
- Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process in a retail environment.
- Experience in production support, enhancements, and change management.
- Basic understanding of integration with SAP SD, FI, and WM/EWM.
- Experience with Master Data Migration and Data Migration Cockpit (DMC).
- Exposure to SAP Fiori applications.
- Good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail.
- Knowledge of Fresh Merchandise processes such as:
- Fruits & Vegetables
- Bakery
- Butchery
- Fishery
- Understanding of Catch Weight Management and retail inventory processes.
- Experience integrating SAP IS-Retail with POS systems, e-commerce platforms, and third-party retail applications.
- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience working on AMS/Production Support projects.
- Experience in Fit-Gap Analysis, business workshops, and business process documentation.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be a hands-on SAP IS-Retail professional with strong SAP MM knowledge, retail domain understanding, implementation experience, and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
