About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA QA Test Lead / Functional Test Analyst to drive functional and end-to-end testing across SAP S/4HANA Core Finance and ETS/Billing.

This is a critical C2H opportunity requiring strong hands-on SAP Finance functional knowledge, business-process understanding, and experience managing testing across complex, integrated enterprise environments.

Mandatory Requirement

SAP HANA Finance (FI) – Minimum 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience is mandatory.

Candidates without 4+ years of SAP HANA Finance experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and coordinate testing activities across SAP S/4HANA Finance and ETS.
- Lead test planning, impact assessment, test-scenario identification, test preparation, execution, defect management, and QA sign-off.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, smoke, upgrade, and defect-retesting activities.
- Validate critical SAP Finance processes including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Bank Accounting
- Asset Accounting
- Controlling (CO)
- FP&A;
- Treasury
- Tax and Expenses
- Acquire-to-Retire (A2R)
- Work in Progress (WIP) and Billing
- Validate ETS processes including project setup, project lifecycle, customer-project stages, staffing, work packages, time recording, billing,



and connected-system integrations.
- Review business requirements, functional specifications, change requests, release notes, and impact assessments to determine testing scope.
- Develop and maintain reusable functional and regression test packs.
- Coordinate test-data preparation and manage dependencies across Finance, business, technical, integration, and vendor teams.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and closure.
- Assess defect impact, regression risk, business criticality, and release readiness.
- Provide testing progress, risk, defect, and quality-gate reporting to business and technology stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years of overall experience in SAP functional testing / QA.
- 4+ years of hands-on SAP HANA Finance (FI) experience – Mandatory.
- Strong hands-on functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and ETS.
- Strong experience testing SAP Finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, CO, FP&A;, Treasury, Tax, Expenses, A2R, WIP/Billing.
- Robust understanding of integrated SAP business processes and cross-functional dependencies.
- Experience in functional, integration, regression, E2E, smoke, upgrade, and defect-retesting.




- Experience creating test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, traceability, and test-completion reports.
- Strong defect management and root-cause-analysis skills.
- Experience supporting SAP release readiness, quality gates, and QA sign-off.
- Ability to work with business users, SAP functional consultants, developers, integration teams, product owners, and third-party vendors.
- Strong stakeholder communication, analytical, risk-management, and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in complex enterprise SAP S/4HANA functional testing environments.
- Strong Finance domain expertise with hands-on testing capability.
- Ability to independently translate requirements into positive, negative, boundary, integration, and role-based test scenarios.
- Experience handling SAP releases, upgrades, enhancements, and business-critical testing streams.
- Experience with Jira and Zephyr Scale or similar test-management/defect-tracking tools.
- Strong ownership and ability to drive testing from impact assessment through final QA sign-off.
