Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP CO – Product Costing Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Controlling, particularly Product Costing . The ideal candidate should have solid experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP CO processes and should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams across Finance, Controlling, Production, and Materials Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP CO – Product Costing processes.
- Handle Product Cost Planning , cost estimates, and standard cost calculations.
- Work on Cost Component Structures, Costing Variants, Valuation Variants, and Costing Sheets .
- Configure and support Material Ledger and Actual Costing processes.
- Work closely with SAP MM, PP, FI, and other functional teams for integrated business processes.
- Analyze and resolve production costing, variance, and settlement-related issues.
- Support cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability-related processes as required.
- Participate in requirement gathering, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams for developments,



enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities .
- Provide production support and troubleshoot complex functional issues.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, and user guides.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and offshore/onshore teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Required Skills

- 7–12 years of relevant SAP CO experience , with solid expertise in Product Costing.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Product Costing / CO-PC .
- Valuable understanding of Product Cost Planning and Standard Cost Estimate .
- Experience with Material Ledger and Actual Costing .
- Good knowledge of integration between CO, FI, MM, and PP .
- Understanding of manufacturing costing processes and variance analysis.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projects.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with business and technical teams.

Preferred

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling .
- Exposure to SAP Fiori and S/4HANA business processes.
- Experience in manufacturing or other product-based industries.
- SAP CO certification is an added advantage.
