nWhat you can expect from the job

nDesign, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, and custom RICEF objects

nacross ECC and S/4HANA.

nDevelop and maintain BAPIs, BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Spots, following SAP best

npractices and clean core principles.

nDesign and implement OData V2/V4 services using SEGW and the ABAP RAP model for Fiori and

nBTP integrations.

nLead technical architecture decisions, conduct peer code reviews, and drive coding standards

nacross the ABAP workstream.

nPerform performance tuning, debugging, and root cause analysis for complex ABAP issues.

nDesign and build integration flows on SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI), connecting

nSAP and non-SAP systems.

nDevelop BTP extensions using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and SAP Build Apps;

nimplement automation using SAP Build Process Automation.

nConfigure and manage API Management, Event Mesh, and connectivity services; deploy

nsolutions on BTP Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtimes as applicable.

nWork closely with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate requirements into

ntechnical designs, solution architecture documents, and unit test results.

nLead technical workshops and client reviews; support effort estimation, technical scoping, and

nchange request assessment.

nManage individual workstreams end-to-end, from design through development, testing,



and

nhypercare, while mentoring junior ABAP/BTP consultants.

nMust-have skills/ characteristics

n5+ years of hands-on ABAP development experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.

nStrong proficiency in classical ABAP, ABAP OO, and up-to-date/Clean ABAP (ABAP in Eclipse).

nExperience with RICEF objects, including IDocs/ALE/EDI interfaces, BDC/LSMW conversions, and

nSmartForms/Adobe Forms.

nProficiency in OData service development using SEGW (SAP Gateway) and the ABAP RAP model.

nStrong SQL and HANA native development skills (CDS Views, HANA procedures, AMDP).

nMinimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience on SAP BTP, including Integration Suite (CPI) iFlow

ndevelopment and adapter configuration.

nExperience with SAP Build Process Automation and SAP CAP (Node.js or Java) for building cloud-

nnative services.

nBTP Cockpit administration (subaccount setup, entitlements, service bindings, destinations) and

nAPI Management.

nOther desirable skills/characteristics

nExperience with SAP Build Apps (low-code front-end development on BTP).

nKnowledge of SAP Event Mesh, event-driven architecture patterns, and the Kyma runtime.

nExposure to SAP Joule integration and AI/ML services on BTP (GenAI Hub).

nSAP certification in ABAP, BTP Integration, or CAP.
