NJob Summary:

NWe are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, preferably with strong experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.

NThe consultant will be responsible for SAP system administration, monitoring, performance management, troubleshooting, upgrades, installations, system maintenance, security, and technical support across SAP landscapes.

NKey Responsibilities

- Perform day-to-day SAP Basis administration and technical support.
N
- Administer and support SAP S/4HANA systems and related SAP landscapes.
N
- Perform SAP system installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, and technical maintenance.
N
- Monitor SAP systems foravailability, performance, capacity, and overall system health.
N
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, ABAP dumps, system logs, background jobs, lock entries, update failures, and RFC/connectivity issues.
N
- Manage SAP transports across development, quality, and production environments.
N
- Configure and maintain RFC connections, trusted RFCs, and system interfaces.
N
- Manage background jobs,batch processing, and scheduling.
N
- Perform SAP client administration, including client creation, configuration, copy, and deletion activities.
N
- Manage SAP users, roles, and authorizations.
N
- Support SAP kernel upgrades, Support Package upgrades, and system patching.
N




- Perform SAP system refreshes and coordinate database-related activities where required.
N
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
N
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with SAP functional, development, infrastructure, and database teams.
N
- Monitor system capacityand coordinate infrastructure requirements.
N
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
N
- Participate in production support, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
N
- Ensure SAP environmentsfollow security, availability, and operational best practices.

nRequired Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience.
N
- Strong experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.
N
- Strong knowledge of SAPBasis administration and SAP system architecture.
N
- Experience with SAP system installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, and maintenance.

- Good knowledge of SAP transport management.
N
- Experience with RFC configuration and troubleshooting.
N
- Experience managing background jobs, system logs, dumps, locks, and system monitoring.
N
- Experience with SAP user and authorization administration.
N
- Good understanding of SAP kernel, Support Packages, and system upgrades.
N




- Experience with SAP system refreshes and client administration.
N
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
N
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.

nDatabase & Operating System

- Good understanding of SAP HANA database administration from a Basis perspective.

- Experience working withSAP HANA-based S/4HANA systems.

- Knowledge of Linux/Unixand/or Windows environments.

- Understanding of database connectivity and SAP HANA-related troubleshooting.

nSecurity & High Availability

- Knowledge of SAP security concepts, roles, and authorizations.

- Experience supporting system security and technical hardening activities.

- Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts.

- Experience with backup,recovery, and system availability procedures.

- SAP S/4HANA certification.

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager / SAP Cloud ALM.

- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Gateway from a Basis administration perspective.

- Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or SAP cloud environments.

nCandidate Profile

NThe ideal candidate should be a solid hands-on SAP Basis professional with proven experience managing S/4HANA technical landscapes. The consultant should be comfortable handling day-to-day Basis administration, production support, system upgrades, performance troubleshooting, and technical maintenance.
