Job Title:

SAP ABAP Developer with AIF Experience

NP : Immediate - 15 days location : Bengaluru

Roles and Responsibilities:

ABAP Development:

- Develop and maintain custom objects using Core ABAP (Reports, Forms, ALV, etc.).
- Enhance standard SAP applications using BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
- Design and optimize ABAP programs for large datasets and high performance.
- Develop SmartForms/ScriptForms, Module Pool programming, and workflows.
- Perform debugging, unit testing, and code optimization.

AIF (Application Interface Framework):

- Configure and customize AIF interfaces to process and monitor inbound/outbound data.
- Develop robust error-handling frameworks using AIF capabilities.
- Implement data mappings, validations, and transformations within AIF.
- Collaborate with functional teams to integrate AIF with modules like SD, MM, FI.

Integration and Interface Management:

- Build interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Proxies.
- Work with SAP PI/PO teams for seamless middleware integration.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, including interface failures and queue monitoring.

System Support & Documentation:

- Provide production support for ABAP and AIF solutions.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches,



and enhancements.
- Maintain technical documentation including TS/FS documents, test cases, and deployment notes.

Team Collaboration & Communication:

- Liaise with cross-functional teams including Basis, Functional, and Middleware.
- Participate in requirement gathering, technical reviews, and design discussions.

Mandatory Skills:

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Expertise in
- Core ABAP (Reports, ALV, Module Pool, SmartForms, Workflows)
- Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework)
- Interface development (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Proxies)
- Hands-on experience with SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF):

- Interface configuration

- Error handling and monitoring

- Data transformation and validations
- Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Exposure to SAP PI/PO integration scenarios.
- Basic understanding of SAP Basis-related concepts (RFC, queues).
- Experience in Agile or fast-paced development environments.
- Solid debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Understanding of SAP modules like SD, MM, FI and integration scenarios.
