Job Title: Sales Executive – Textile Showroom

Reports To: Showroom Manager / Floor Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, customer-oriented Sales Executive to join our premier textile showroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting walk-in customers, showcasing our extensive fabric and garment collections (including Sarees, Dress Materials, Shirting/Suiting, and Readymade Garments), and driving daily counter sales. As the face of our showroom, you will ensure every visitor enjoys a premium, helpful shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Assistance & Consultation:
- Greet walk-in retail customers warmly and understand their clothing or fabric preferences.
- Showcase diverse fabric collections, explaining material quality, textures, and care instructions.
- Assist customers with appropriate sizing, color selections, and pitch matching combinations or accessories.
- Sales Generation:
- Actively upsell and cross-sell related products to maximize the average bill value.
- Inform customers about ongoing seasonal discounts, festival schemes, and newly arrived collections.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual daily counter sales targets.
- Merchandising & Floor Maintenance:
- Maintain highly organized, clean, and visually appealing fabric display racks and counters.




- Monitor stock levels on the floor and coordinate with the warehouse team to promptly replenish sold-out designs.
- Assist with periodic inventory checks and updates.
- Billing & After-Sales Support:
- Guide customers smoothly through the billing process.
- Coordinate with the in-house tailoring or alteration team (if applicable) to ensure customer requirements are met.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of proven sales experience in a reputed textile shop, saree boutique, or garment showroom. Freshers with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fashion retail may also be considered.
- Education: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or Graduate degree. A background or certification in fashion retail or textile design is a plus.
- Skills:
- Solid interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, polite demeanor with excellent customer-handling abilities.
- Quick learning ability to memorize fabric varieties, pricing structures, and current fashion trends.
- Fluency in the local regional language; basic proficiency in English or Hindi is an advantage. [1]
- Physical Traits: Ability to remain on your feet for extended showroom hours and comfortably handle heavy fabric bundles.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
