Company Description

WisGrowth is an AI-powered career decision and guidance platform designed to help students and professionals make better career choices and take meaningful action afterward.

Rather than stopping at an assessment or career recommendation, WisGrowth helps users understand themselves, evaluate possible career directions, identify gaps and evidence, and move toward practical next steps.

We are building WisGrowth for students, professionals, career counsellors, coaches, schools, colleges and other organisations involved in career development.

As an early-stage, mission-driven startup, we value practical thinking, initiative, experimentation and people who are comfortable taking ownership rather than simply completing assigned tasks.

Role Description

We are looking for a Sales & Partnerships Intern who can help us introduce WisGrowth to schools, colleges, universities, career counsellors and other education-sector organisations.

This is not primarily a desk-based marketing internship.

A major part of the role will involve identifying the right institutions and decision-makers, reaching out to them, starting relevant conversations and helping WisGrowth secure initial discussions, demonstrations and potential pilot opportunities.

You will work closely with the founding team and get direct exposure to how an early-stage education technology product is taken to market.

What You Will Work On-

Your responsibilities will include

Researching schools, colleges, universities, coaching organisations, career counselling firms and other relevant education-sector organisations.

Identifying the right people within these organisations, including principals, school leaders, career counsellors, placement officers, training and placement heads, deans, student affairs teams, career services teams and institutional decision-makers.

Reaching out to relevant prospects through LinkedIn, email, phone and other appropriate channels.

Introducing WisGrowth in a transparent and conversational manner rather than sending generic sales messages.

Starting discussions around how WisGrowth could support their students, counsellors, placement teams or career-development programmes.

Helping secure introductory calls, product demonstrations and discussions with qualified institutions.

Following up professionally with interested prospects and maintaining relationships over time.

Supporting conversations around pilots, student programmes, workshops and institutional adoption.

Helping career counsellors and coaches understand how WisGrowth can complement their existing work rather than replace it.

Supporting onboarding and basic product demonstrations when required.

Maintaining an organised record of prospects, conversations, follow-ups, responses and outcomes.

Collecting feedback from schools, colleges, counsellors and students and sharing useful insights with the product and founding team.

Helping test and improve outreach messages, positioning and sales approaches based on real market responses.

Supporting relevant social media, community and partnership initiatives where required.

Who We Are Looking For

You may be a good fit if you have:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Confidence speaking with educators, counsellors and professionals.

Genuine interest in sales, partnerships, business development or education.

The ability to research organisations and identify the right decision-makers rather than simply collecting contact lists.

Persistence in following up while remaining professional and respectful.

Comfort initiating conversations with people you have not spoken with before.

Good organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate outreach records.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Curiosity about career guidance, education technology, AI and the future of work.

A proactive mindset. We value interns who ask, “How can I get this conversation started?” rather than waiting for detailed instructions.

Education-Sector Exposure Preferred

Candidates with any existing connection to the education ecosystem will be particularly relevant.

This may include

Previous internships or work with schools, colleges or universities.

Relationships with teachers, professors, principals, counsellors or placement teams.

Experience organising college events or student programmes.

Participation in education communities or student networks.

Experience selling or promoting products or programmes to educational institutions.

Experience with career counselling, training, placement or EdTech organisations.

Having an existing education network is preferred but not mandatory. More important is your ability to confidently build new relationships.

Ideal Background

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:

Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Management or a related discipline.

Candidates from other backgrounds are also welcome if they can demonstrate strong communication, initiative and an interest in education-sector sales.

What Success Looks Like

We will not measure this internship simply by the number of emails sent.

We care about whether you can:

Identify genuinely relevant schools and colleges.

Find the right people within those organisations.

Start meaningful conversations.

Generate responses from qualified prospects.

Secure introductory discussions or product demonstrations.

Help us understand what institutions actually need.

Contribute toward potential pilots, partnerships and adoption of WisGrowth.

What You Will Gain

This internship gives you hands-on exposure to:

B2B and institutional sales.

School and college partnerships.

EdTech and career-tech markets.

Prospect research and lead qualification.

Founder-led sales.

Product demonstrations.

Customer discovery.

Sales messaging and positioning.

Startup growth and go-to-market strategy.

Working directly with an early-stage technology product.

You will work much closer to actual business-building than in a typical internship involving only social media posting or database entry.

Internship Certificate & Recognition

All interns who successfully complete the internship and meet the agreed participation and performance requirements will receive an Internship Certificate from WisGrowth.

High-performing interns will also receive additional recognition and performance-based rewards based on the quality of their contribution, conversations generated, institutional opportunities created and overall impact.

Exceptional performers may also be considered for extended opportunities with WisGrowth, depending on business requirements and performance.

Who Should Apply

Apply if you are someone who enjoys talking to people, building relationships and figuring out how to open doors.

This role will particularly suit someone who wants practical experience in sales, partnerships, EdTech, institutional business development or startup growth and wants their work to have a visible impact.

Location: Remote

Role: Full-time Internship

Function: Sales, Business Development & Partnerships

Primary Market: Schools, Colleges, Universities, Career Counsellors and Education Organisations
