Role Description The Sales Officer role at Kalika Steel is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune and PCMC.

The Sales

Officer will manage day-to-day sales activities, including identifying prospective clients, generating and qualifying leads, and maintaining solid relationships with existing customers. This role involves coordinating with internal teams to support sales operations, preparing quotations and proposals, and tracking sales performance against targets.

Officer will engage in channel sales activities, support distributors and partners, and provide consistent customer service and communication throughout the sales cycle.



The position also includes regular follow-ups, market research, and reporting on sales trends and opportunities to the management team.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Sales Operations skills to identify opportunities, manage pipelines, and support the end-to-end sales process.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to present solutions clearly, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Channel Sales experience or understanding to work with distributors, dealers, and other partners in the steel or related industries.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience in industrial or B2B sales, especially in steel, construction materials, is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune and PCMC, manage field visits, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and basic computer skills
