Overview The SailPoint ISC Manager leads the Fully Managed IGA delivery team — overseeing all technical operations, driving new client onboarding, managing team performance, and serving as the primary bridge between the delivery function and the Service Delivery Manager (SDM). This is a player-manager role in the early phase of the practice: the Manager brings hands-on SailPoint ISC expertise and simultaneously builds and leads the team as the client base scales.

Required Technical Skills

- SailPoint ISC — Expert-Level Platform Knowledge — Deep, hands-on expertise across all SailPoint ISC capabilities: identity lifecycle, certifications, SoD, role management, RBAC, connector framework, rule writing, and reporting API. Must be able to review and approve any configuration change made by the engineering team.
- IGA Architecture — Multi-Tenant Managed Services — Experience architecting IGA solutions for multiple concurrent clients — including multi-tenant SailPoint ISC design, connector reuse strategies, shared rule library management, and capacity planning across the identity pool.
- Onboarding Automation Oversight — Full understanding of the onboarding automation playbook — able to review, approve, and improve the scripts, config templates, and test suite. Does not execute routinely but must be able to step in for any phase.
- SLA Framework Design & Management — Experience designing and operating SLA frameworks for managed services: response time thresholds, breach alerting, ITSM integration, and monthly SLA reporting.



Ability to analyse SLA performance trends and drive improvements.
- Technical Quality Assurance — Ability to conduct configuration reviews, rule code reviews, and test suite reviews across all active client environments. Identifies risk before it becomes an incident.
- Delivery Tooling Stack — Proficiency with: SailPoint ISC admin plane, ITSM (ServiceNow/Jira), Git (for onboarding repo management), Python (to read and understand automation scripts), and reporting tools for performance dashboards.
- Managed Services Commercial Awareness — Understanding of how the three-layer cost and margin model works (tech, build, ops), how tier pricing translates to delivery cost, and what the financial impact of team scaling decisions is on practice profitability.

Certifications

Required Certifications

- SailPoint Identity Security Leader (ISL) — must hold at hire
- SailPoint IdentityNow Engineer — must hold at hire

Good-to-Have Certifications

- SailPoint IdentityNow Architect — strongly preferred for this level
- ITIL v4 Managing Professional or equivalent
- PMP (Project Management Qualified)
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate

Good to have Skills

- Presentation & Executive Communication — Ability to present to a leadership audience — relevant when the Manager deputizes the Managed Services Director in strategic client engagements or QBRs.
- ITIL v4 — Intermediate or Practitioner — Formal ITSM/service management framework knowledge to strengthen the incident, change, and problem management processes within the delivery team.
- PAM Platform Awareness (CyberArk / BeyondTrust / Delinea) — IGA and PAM are closely related — privileged account governance in ISC certification campaigns and PAM integration are near-term roadmap items. PAM platform awareness is valuable.
