Role Description The Safety Team Leader (Construction Industry) is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, responsible for leading safety initiatives across active construction sites. This role oversees daily safety supervision, coordinates site inspections, and ensures adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements.

Leader guides and mentors site safety staff, conducts toolbox talks and safety trainings, and promotes a culture of risk awareness and incident prevention. The role includes monitoring and documenting safety performance, preparing reports, supporting audits, and collaborating with project managers,
contractors, and workers to resolve safety issues promptly.

Leader also participates in planning meetings to integrate safety measures into work schedules and construction activities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Supervisory Skills and experience leading safety or site teams in the construction industry.
- Strong Site Supervision capabilities, including daily monitoring of work areas and coordination with project stakeholders.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with workers, management, and external partners, and for conducting trainings and briefings.
- Hands-on Inspection experience in identifying hazards, assessing risks, and verifying compliance with safety standards.
- Solid foundation in Construction Safety practices, regulations, and protected work procedures.
- Relevant technical or safety-related qualification (e.g., diploma/degree in engineering, safety management, NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent certification).
- Ability to prepare clear safety reports, maintain documentation, and support internal and external audits.
- Proven ability to work on-site in dynamic construction environments and respond effectively to emergencies or incidents.
