Safety Engineer / HSE Engineer

We are looking for a Safety Engineer / HSE Engineer with 1–5 years of experience to ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe working environment at project sites.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with HSE / EHS safety procedures.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Training, and Safety Awareness programs.
- Monitor proper usage of PPE by workers and site staff.
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, checklists, and documentation.
- Conduct Risk Assessment, HIRA and JSA for site activities.
- Monitor work-at-height, electrical work, hot work, lifting, scaffolding, and other high-risk activities.
- Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Contractors, and Project Managers.
- Ensure good housekeeping and protected working practices at the site.
- Support emergency preparedness and fire safety procedures.

Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Safety Engineering,



Fire & Safety, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in construction, interior, civil, infrastructure, manufacturing, or project sites.
- Knowledge of HSE, EHS, Risk Assessment, HIRA, JSA, PPE, and Site Safety.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
- Willingness to work at project sites in Chennai.

Preferred
- NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS / DIS / Diploma in Safety certification is an advantage.
- Candidates with construction or interior project experience preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
