ROLE: Safety Officer - Site (Fixed Duration Contract, 12 Weeks)

A site Safety Officer is required for the dismantling and decommissioning of existing infrastructure at a data centre facility in Malad West, Mumbai. The position is dedicated to this site for the full project duration and reports to the Project Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct the daily toolbox talk (TBT) at every work front
- Verify PPE and tools before commencement of work
- Implement the approved Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) at the work front
- Control hot work permits, work at height and confined space activity
- Verify electrical isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) before any disconnection
- Supervise battery handling and associated chemical and electrical hazards
- Maintain barricading, signage, secure access and egress, and emergency arrangements
- Participate in client safety audits and a joint mock drill
- Exercise authority to stop unsafe work

ESSENTIAL




- Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognised institution (original certificate required)
- Minimum 3 years as a Safety Officer on execution or project sites
- Working knowledge of electrical safety, LOTO, work at height, hot work permit systems and PPE control
- Ability to conduct toolbox talks in Hindi and/or Marathi
- Willing to work site-based at Malad West for the full working day

DESIRABLE: Experience in a live data centre, telecom exchange, or an occupied commercial building where service continuity was critical. COMPENSATION: Rs. 25,000 - 30,000 per month plus a separate travelling allowance.

PRE-JOINING: Police verification and client gate pass are mandatory.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
