Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced S/4 HANA ABAP Consultant with strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP development, integrations, and S/4 HANA technologies. The ideal candidate will work on support, enhancement, and migration projects while collaborating with functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Primary Skills Required

- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP/4 & S/4 HANA ABAP
- Expertise in Workflow, OO ABAP, Data Dictionary, BAPI, BADI, RFC, ALE/EDI, IDOC
- Experience with ALV, Classical/Interactive Reports, BDC, SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms (offline/interactive)
- Proficiency in Enhancements, User Exits, Dialog Programming, Interface/Proxy Programming, LSMW, BSP, Web Dynpro, AIF, Spool Programming
- Strong experience in Core Data Services (CDS Views) and OData services
- Expertise in AMDP for optimized HANA-based processing
- Experience with S/4 HANA migration, system conversion, and data migration

Integration Skills

- Strong experience in building interfaces using: IDOC, ALE, RFC, SOAP, REST, HTTP, FTP, SFTP, SMTP, JMS, AMQP

- Knowledge of SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI for integration and interface development
- Ability to design and implement interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems

Functional Knowledge

- Strong understanding of FI/CO and MM (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of additional SAP modules is an advantage

Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality ABAP development for S/4 HANA and ECC systems
- Handle technical design specifications,



development, tuning, and performance optimization

- Implement enhancements through User Exits and BADIs
- Configure & test Web Services (SOAP)
- Provide real-time monitoring and support for SAP applications

- Resolve complex technical issues independently and support critical situations
- Work closely with business & functional teams to understand requirements and propose SAP solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to project standards

Must-Have Skills

- Strong expertise in ABAP/4, S/4 HANA ABAP, and interface development
- Hands-on experience in IDOCs, ALE, Proxies, Enhancements, EDI, RFC, CDS, OData

- Strong business process understanding in FI/CO and MM
- Ability to independently manage tasks, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Solid collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt to fast-changing environments
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and independent working style

- Familiarity with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
