Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to resolve high-priority incidents through advanced troubleshooting, ensure SLA compliance, analyse system performance trends, and create mitigation measures by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Areas of Responsibility

- Triaging and resolution of tickets: Provide resolution to high priority incident (P2) tickets, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure timely closure.
- SLA Monitoring: Ensure SLA compliance for assigned technology areas and ensure proactive escalation management.
- Performance tuning and optimization: Analyse system performance data, coordinate findings on system behaviour, and support capacity planning initiatives to enhance overall system efficiency.
- Perform system Improvements: Create mitigation measures to evaluate new tools or improvements by collaborating with technical teams.
- Handling disaster recovery: Perform security assessments and recovery drills, and implement necessary controls to ensure compliance with established security standards.
- Reporting and stakeholder engagement: Participate in weekly and monthly service review meetings, provide updates on performance and issues, and support stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and service alignment.




- Team Management: Collaborate with team members to resolve open tickets and service requests.
- Knowledge base and continuous learning: Contribute to updating SOPs, knowledge articles and maintaining the knowledge repository for the purpose of future ticket resolution.

Job Responsibilities The candidate is expected to:

- Plan, Design, Implement projects for service providers.
- Based on a valuable understanding of the SP technologies and services, translate requirements to technical details.
- Determine problems and deliver known solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Exhibit good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Be customer interfacing and able to work independently and follow remote instructions in both verbal and written communications.
- Quickly establish credibility with the customer as well as work collaboratively with technical professionals.
- Track work against the engagement schedule and support the PM in tracking financial, resource, and material requirements for the engagements.
- Ensure smooth closure of engagements using relationships with the customer to guide them to the next step i.e., Sampler service to Assessment Service, Assessment Service to Optimization Service.

Experience Requirement

- Experience on product lines like ASR9K/ASR1K, 7200, Catalyst 6500/4500/3850. Must be very experienced in using the latest ASR9K line cards and have internal product and/or architecture knowledge.
- Proven experience in Cisco IOS, IOS-XR, IOS-XE. Nexus 7K/5K/2K product lines will be a plus.
- Essential skills on Carrier Ethernet/Metro Ethernet Design/Integration/Implementation with hands-on experience on Cisco (ASR9K, ASR 901/902/920).




- Good implementation/support in Layer 2 of Metro-Ethernet services on a hybrid network comprising of Cisco ASR9K.
- Working knowledge and experience in BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IP/MPLS, QoS, MPLS Traffic Engineering, IPv6, Multicast can be an added advantage.
- Experience on migration windows and network migration projects, on-site or remote migration support; high-level methodologies, MOP generation & As-Built documentation.
- Fully audit & own configuration translations services & ensure service readiness for migrations.
- Provide recommendations, risk assessment, recommendations and overall help the customer obtain the best design for their technical requirements. Deliver documents such as Customer Requirements Documents (CRDs), High and Low-level designs (HLD, LLD), Integration and acceptance test plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers.
- Communication skills to include conflict management, negotiation, presentation and written communication; cultural sensitivity, goal alignment, learning agility, and virtual/remote training.
- Hand over the solution to the customer, so the customer can take ownership. Produce and deliver Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions to customers that will facilitate the customer in taking ownership of the newly deployed solution.
