A Heavy Fabrication Robotic Welder operates and maintains automated robotic systems to join thick, large-scale metal parts for infrastructure, construction, and industrial equipment. [1]Key Responsibilities

- Operation & Monitoring: Run robotic welding cells or gantry systems, loading and unloading heavy structural components using cranes or hoists. [1, 2]

- Programming & Setup: Select welding parameters (voltage, wire feed, shielding gas) and adjust programs for GMAW (MIG) or FCAW (Flux-Core) processes. [1, 2]

- Distortion Control: Manage heat distortion in heavy plate work using jacks, clamps, or manual straightening techniques. [1, 2]

- Quality & Inspection: Verify welds against blueprints, technical drawings, and standards (such as AWS or ISO) using precision tools. [1, 2]

- Maintenance: Perform routine calibration, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on robotic arms, torches, and fixtures. [1, 2]
