Gram Vikas Sewa Sansthan (GVSS) is a registered non-profit organization established in 1978, working to improve the lives of marginalized communities across Uttar Pradesh through programmes in education, livelihoods, health & nutrition, women's empowerment, climate resilience, migration, and social protection. GVSS partners with national and international donors, CSR foundations, government agencies, and philanthropic organizations to deliver sustainable development initiatives.

Position Summary

GVSS seeks a dynamic and motivated Resource Mobilization Lead to strengthen its institutional fundraising and partnership portfolio. The position will play a key role in identifying funding opportunities, developing high-quality proposals, managing donor relationships, supporting grant management, and contributing to the organization's long-term resource mobilization strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Fundraising

- Identify and research funding opportunities from CSR companies, national and international foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies, and philanthropic organizations.
- Track grant opportunities and maintain a funding pipeline.
- Analyse donor priorities and align them with GVSS programmes.

Proposal Development

- Prepare high-quality concept notes, grant proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and donor presentations.




- Coordinate with programme and finance teams to develop technical narratives, logical frameworks, budgets, and implementation plans.
- Ensure timely submission of funding proposals.

Donor Engagement

- Build and maintain professional relationships with donors, CSR representatives, and partner organizations.
- Support donor meetings, presentations, and partnership discussions.
- Assist in organizing donor visits and field exposure trips.

Grant Management

- Coordinate with programme teams to collect project updates and documentation.
- Support preparation of donor reports, success stories, case studies, and communication materials.
- Maintain proposal, grant, and donor documentation.

Resource Mobilization

- Contribute to GVSS's fundraising strategy and annual resource mobilization plan.
- Explore innovative fundraising approaches and partnership opportunities.
- Support organizational visibility through networking events and sector forums.

Field Documentation

- Visit project locations to document programme outcomes, beneficiary stories, photographs,

and impact narratives for donor communication and proposal development.

Qualifications

Essential

- Master's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, Public Policy,

Management, Communications,



or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in fundraising, proposal writing, donor engagement,

programme development, or business development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong research, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desirable

- Experience working with NGOs or development organizations.
- Knowledge of CSR funding, institutional grants, and donor compliance.
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools and proposal development platforms.
- Basic understanding of project budgeting and logical framework development.

Travel The position requires periodic travel to GVSS project locations across Uttar Pradesh for programme understanding, documentation, monitoring, and donor visits.
