QuantumSaw LLC maintains a database of 5,000+ bandsaw models, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Research Associate to help keep it accurate and complete. This is an office-support role built around independent internet research you'll be tracking down product images, manuals, and specifications for saws across manufacturers, old and recent, and organizing everything into our internal system.

What You'll Do

- Research individual bandsaw models within our 5,000+ item database using manufacturer websites, dealer catalogs, forums, archives, and other online sources
- Locate and download accurate product images and manuals/spec sheets for each model
- Verify and cross-check specifications for accuracy before entering them into our system
- Organize files and data consistently according to our internal naming and filing standards
- Flag missing, outdated, or conflicting information for follow-up
- Maintain clear records of sources for traceability

What We're Looking For

- Strong,



patient internet research skills comfortable digging through manufacturer sites, forums, and archived pages to find hard-to-locate documents
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and file organization
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and basic database/file management tools
- Good written English for documentation and internal notes
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage a large, ongoing volume of research tasks
- 1–3 years of experience in data research, virtual assistance, cataloging, library/records work, or similar is a plus (training provided on our specific database)

Nice to Have

- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to speed up research and summarize findings
