Company Description The Strategic Research and Growth Foundation (SRGF) is a young non-profit organization headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, established in early 2023. SRGF focuses on sustainable development, inclusive growth, and comprehensive national security through work in social impact, capacity building, and policy recommendations. The organization gathers first-hand, actionable insights to design outcome-based strategies that address critical national and humanitarian challenges.

SRGF collaborates actively with key stakeholders, thought leaders, and subject-matter experts from academia, industry, and governance through brainstorming sessions, roundtables, seminars, and workshops. This collaborative approach enables SRGF to identify priority issues and drive meaningful change in society.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Research Intern role based in New Delhi.

The Research

Intern will support ongoing projects by conducting literature reviews, policy and data analysis, and field or desk research related to social impact, capacity building, and national security.

Responsibilities include preparing research briefs, concept notes, and reports; assisting in the design of surveys or interview guides; and helping synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations. The intern will contribute to organizing stakeholder interactions such as roundtables, seminars, and workshops,



and will take part in documenting discussion outcomes. The role also involves collaborating with senior researchers and project leads, maintaining research databases, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and ethical conduct in all research activities.

Qualifications

- Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to conduct literature reviews, interpret data, and develop evidence-based insights.
- Excellent writing and editing abilities for producing concise briefs, reports, and policy notes tailored to diverse audiences.
- Competence in using productivity and research tools (e.g., MS Office, online databases, survey platforms) and organizing information systematically.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders in academia, industry, and governance.
- Demonstrated interest in public policy, social impact, sustainable development, or national security; prior internship or project experience in related areas is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in social sciences, public policy, international relations, economics, or a related field.
- Commitment to ethical research practices, inclusivity, and non-discriminatory engagement with diverse communities and viewpoints.
