Role Description The Research Analyst – Investment Banking will be responsible for conducting detailed market and industry research to support fundraising and advisory mandates. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves preparing analytical reports, financial summaries, and data-driven insights for internal teams and clients. Day-to-day activities include gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, supporting the development of financial models and pitch decks, and tracking relevant trends in capital markets, startups, and SMEs.

The Research

Analyst will collaborate with investment banking professionals to prepare investor-ready materials, assist in due diligence,



and contribute to the evaluation of business models and valuation assumptions. The role also includes clear documentation of findings, effective communication of research outcomes, and coordination with cross-functional teams such as finance, legal, and IT.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Statistics for interpreting financial, market, and operational data.
- Proven experience in Market Research and Research, including data collection, validation, and insight generation.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly in written reports and presentations.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of investment banking concepts, fundraising processes, and startup/SME ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools; familiarity with financial modeling is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
