Role Description The Relationship Sales Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Khandelwal Jewellers in Nagpur. This role involves greeting and assisting customers in the showroom, understanding their requirements, presenting suitable jewelry options, and supporting them through the purchase decision. The officer maintains ongoing relationships with regular customers, follows up on inquiries, and supports sales campaigns and promotional activities.

Daily tasks include handling basic billing and documentation, coordinating with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations, and maintaining product knowledge and awareness of current offers. The role also requires maintaining a professional appearance,



adhering to company policies, and contributing to a welcoming, ethical customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and professionally with diverse customers.
- Sales and persuasion abilities, including understanding customer needs, explaining product features and benefits, and supporting closing of sales.
- Communication skills in English and local languages (spoken and basic written), with transparent, courteous, and confident interaction.
- Basic numerical and computer skills for handling billing, receipts, and simple documentation in a retail environment.
- Attention to detail and integrity in handling valuable products, documentation, and customer information.
- Prior experience in retail sales, jewelry, luxury goods, or related customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site, including weekends and peak festive seasons, as per store schedule.
- Minimum educational background at higher secondary level; a diploma or degree in commerce, business, or related fields is beneficial.
