Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue and profitability targets for the Endoscopy portfolio within the assigned territory. Identify and onboard new customers, hospitals, and channel partners to strengthen market penetration.
Build and execute territory plans aligned with national business objectives.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
Ensure effective inventory planning, forecasting, and distribution coordination.
Develop KOLs and reference centers to drive advocacy and wider adoption of Meril endoscopy systems.
Manage and mentor Area Sales Managers and channel partners to achieve business objectives.
Analyze territory performance metrics and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent growth.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, service, and supply chain teams for seamless execution.
Represent Meril at key medical conferences and industry forums.
Maintain CRM updates and provide timely reporting on forecasts, opportunities, and customer insights.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Business Administration. RSM: 8–12 years of experience including leadership of sales teams or regional business units.
Strong network among gastroenterologists, general surgeons, and hospital procurement stakeholders.
Proven track record in driving capital equipment and consumables sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned geography.
