Role:

Provide on-site application support at customer furnaces, install ramming-mass linings using appropriate methods, and resolve application-related issues.

Specifications and application information

Experience: 5+ years in an induction-furnace steel melting shop. Education Technical diploma preferred; no mandatory education requirement stated Employment Full-time Travel Customer sites in South India and anywhere in the world; travel expenses covered.

Qualifications

- Experience in steel melting operations,



furnace handling, or foundry work, preferably with coreless induction furnaces.
- Knowledge of refractory materials, such as Silica Ramming Mass, and their application in furnace lining.
- Understanding of basic metallurgical principles, temperature control, and quality standards in steel production.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, use personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Basic technical and mechanical aptitude for operating industrial equipment and performing routine checks.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively alone.
- Willingness to work on-site in Hindupur, to collaborate with production teams to enable successful on-site client visits.
- Relevant vocational training or experience in steel, metallurgy, or industrial operations; formal technical qualification is an advantage.
