We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration Technician to manage the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and cooling equipment across our retail stores, cafs, and QSR outlets. The candidate should have hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration systems and be comfortable handling preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and cooling equipment.

Handle refrigeration equipment such as chillers, deep freezers, display refrigerators, under-counter refrigerators, cold rooms, ice machines, and other commercial cooling systems.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.

Diagnose issues related to compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, motors, electrical components, and refrigerant systems.

Check and maintain refrigerant levels and identify leakage issues.

Attend breakdown calls at stores/outlets and ensure timely resolution.

Coordinate with store teams and operations teams for maintenance requirements.

Maintain records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and spare parts used.

Ensure refrigeration equipment complies with safety and operational standards.

Coordinate with external vendors/service providers wherever required.

Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues to minimize downtime.

Maintain proper tools, spare parts, and maintenance equipment.

Follow all safety procedures while working with electrical and refrigeration systems.

Required Skills





Hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration maintenance.

Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerants.

Troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance skills.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls.

Ability to read basic electrical/refrigeration diagrams.

Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work independently and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.

Positive coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.

25 years of relevant experience in refrigeration maintenance.

Candidates from retail, QSR, cafs, restaurants, hotels, hospitality, food production, or commercial kitchen environments will be preferred.

Experience handling refrigeration equipment across multiple outlets/stores will be an added advantage.

Willingness to travel to different stores/outlets as required.

Candidates with experience in commercial refrigeration rather than residential AC servicing will be preferred.
