Job Summary The Rebar Detailer is responsible for preparing detailed reinforcement shop drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) for reinforced concrete structures based on structural and architectural drawings. The role requires close coordination with engineers, project teams, and production departments to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare reinforcement shop drawings for slabs, beams, columns, walls, footings, staircases, and other structural elements.

- Develop Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) in accordance with approved structural drawings and project specifications.

- Review structural and architectural drawings to identify inconsistencies or clashes.

- Coordinate with structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams regarding reinforcement detailing issues.

- Revise and update drawings based on comments, design modifications,



and site requirements.

- Ensure detailing complies with applicable codes, BS standards, and company procedures.

- Coordinate with fabrication and production teams for accurate cutting and bending requirements.

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

- Minimum 4-5 experience in rebar detailing .

- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Cads RC rebar detailing software.

- Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural & MEP drawings.
