Job Summary

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor & Billing Engineer for residential & commercial projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze project costing such as materials, quantities, labour and time.

- Certification of contractor invoices including verification of measurements, quantities, rates, compliances as per contract conditions.

- Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities & assessing material requirements, indents, reconciliation of materials.

- Negotiate contracts and work schedules & assisting in resolution of disputes related to contracts and claims.

- Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages of the construction, sub-contractor billing process.

- Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction.

- Assist in establishing requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure proposals will work.

- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.

- Advise on a procurement strategy.

- Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks.

- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.

- Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.





- Assess completed works, oversee bills and arrange payments.

- Value engineering, suggestion and evaluation of alternate methods to save costs and time.

- Prepare periodic cost reports and assist the planning manager in budget and cost reporting.

- Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.

Education and Experience Requirements

- B.E. or B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Real Estate or Building construction.

Skillset & Knowledge

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Quantity Surveying Software, MS Office.

- Knowledge of contract documentation, claim management and dispute resolution.

- In-depth knowledge of materials, specifications and rates.

- Knowledge of construction works including civil and structural.
