Estimation & Billing Engineer — Sanctum Infratech Pvt. Ltd.

About the Role

SIPL is looking for an experienced Estimation & Billing Engineer to own quantity estimation, contractor billing, and cost control across our active redevelopment projects (DPS Rivera, DPS Orbis, DPS Sanctum and the pipeline societies). You'll be the numbers person between site, contractors, and management — making sure every rupee billed matches work actually done, and mentoring the billing process as we scale across more sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify BOQs (Bill of Quantities) from architectural/structural drawings for tendering and budgeting
- Scrutinize and process contractor RA (Running Account) bills against site measurements and work completion
- Conduct rate analysis and negotiate/benchmark rates for materials, labour and sub-contracts
- Track project-wise cost vs. budget (variance analysis) and flag overruns to management
- Verify measurement sheets, MB (measurement book) entries, and site work records before bill approval
- Coordinate with site engineers, architects, and the accounts team for bill certification and payment release
- Prepare comparative statements for contractor/vendor tendering
- Maintain BOQ-to-actual reconciliation for each project stage (excavation, plinth, slabs,



finishing)
- Support in preparing cost estimates for new project feasibility (coordinating with the DCPR feasibility team)
- Set up/standardize billing formats and estimation checklists across projects; review junior engineers' bills before final certification

Requirements

- B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 5–10 years' experience in estimation & billing, preferably in residential/redevelopment construction, with at least one project seen through from foundation to handover
- Strong command of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and RA bill certification
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (for quantity take-offs), MS Excel (advanced), and any billing software (CostX/Vault/Candy is a plus)
- Sharp eye for detail — this role exists to catch discrepancies before they cost the company money
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of billing across multiple live sites without close supervision
