Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Engineer – Quality to support quality control and quality assurance activities in our manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring product quality, conducting inspections, maintaining quality records, and coordinating with Production and other departments to ensure that products meet defined quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of products as per quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and identify quality issues, defects, and deviations.
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, check sheets, and other documents.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams for resolution of quality-related issues.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality problems.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and customer-related quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, work instructions, and standards.
- Support implementation of 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Verify that inspection instruments and measuring equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.




- Follow up on process improvements and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability of quality-related activities.
- Perform any other quality-related responsibilities assigned by the Quality Manager/Supervisor.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Ability to work in shifts.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Polymer, Plastics, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience
- Freshers to 2 years of experience in Quality/Manufacturing.
- Experience in Plastic Injection Moulding / Blow Moulding will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate
- Candidates with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Candidates with exposure to manufacturing quality processes will be preferred.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
