Role Description The Quality Inspector – Dimensional Inspection role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The role involves performing dimensional inspections on components and assemblies using appropriate measuring tools and instruments, and verifying that parts meet specified tolerances and technical drawings.

The Quality

Inspector will document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and report non-conformities to relevant stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include supporting quality assurance activities, collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues,



and contributing to continuous improvement of inspection processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection, including dimensional measurement and verification of parts against technical specifications.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Management practices, including documentation, compliance with standards, and process improvement.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret engineering drawings, identify deviations, and analyze root causes of quality issues.
- Proficiency with inspection tools and instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM), and familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;).
- Relevant technical education such as a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a time-sensitive manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and report findings clearly.
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-precision engineering environments is an advantage.
