Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Checker to oversee the inspection and testing of school textbooks, workbooks, and educational printing materials. In this role, you will ensure every printed publication meets strict accuracy, durability, and printing standards before reaching classrooms and students.

Key Responsibilities

- Pre-Press &
- Proof Verification:

Cross-check final print layouts against approved proof copies, ensuring text alignment, page numbering, cover design, and graphics match requirements.

- Color &

- Print Accuracy:

Monitor ink density, color consistency, trapping, and registration across runs to eliminate smudges, streaks, or ghosting.

- Binding &

- Finishing Inspection:

Inspect binding durability (saddle-stitch, perfect bind, or thread sewing), trim accuracy, paper quality, and lamination for defects.

- Content Integrity Checks: Perform random sampling to verify page sequence, missing or duplicated pages, and correct barcoding/ISBN information.

- Defect Escalation: Immediately halt press operations when major non-conformances occur and coordinate with press operators to rectify issues.





- Quality Reporting: Maintain daily inspection logs, defect tracking reports, and pass/fail records for regulatory and client audit purposes.

Required Qualifications &

- Experience

- Education: High School Diploma or ITI/Diploma in Printing Technology or Quality Management.

- Experience: 2–4 years of quality control experience in a commercial printing, publishing, or packaging facility.

- Visual Acuity: Excellent visual perception and color vision (must pass a standard color-blindness test).

- Technical Familiarity: Understanding of offset printing, digital printing, binding techniques, and paper stocks.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
