Description

"We are seeking a highly experienced Test Automation Engineer with approximately 6 years of hands-on experience in leading automation initiatives across complex systems. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in TestNG-based frameworks, with additional exposure to the Robot Framework being a plus. The role also involves contributing to performance testing efforts, making this a well-rounded position for someone passionate about quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

- Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy covering all application layersUI, API, database, and integration points.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and REST Assured.
- Lead the execution of both automated and manual test cases across multiple test environments to ensure high-quality releases.
- Encourage and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with DevOps and POs to embed performance and security testing into the QA process.
- Conduct non-functional testing using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner to assess system performance and reliability.




- Incorporate feedback from production incidents to improve test coverage and system resilience.
- Working experience in Scrum or Kanban environments

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance roles with automation testing experience
- Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, testing integrations, end-to-end system processes and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.

Automation & Testing Tools:
- Selenium WebDriver (for UI automation)
- TestNG or JUnit (Java-based test frameworks)
- Postman and REST Assured (for API testing)
- Maven or Gradle (for build management)
- JMeter (for Performance testing)

Programming Language

- Java (primary language for automation)
- Python (for test automation and scripting)

Version Control & CI/CD
- Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
