About The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Testing Intern to join our engineering team. You will work closely with developers and product teams to test web applications, APIs, and product features, identify issues, and help ensure a reliable user experience before releases.

This role is ideal for someone who understands software testing fundamentals and wants hands-on experience working on real-world products.

Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of web applications and product features.
- Understand requirements and create clear test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and usability testing.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
- Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Validate API requests, responses, status codes, and error scenarios.
- Test applications across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and reproduce issues.
- Maintain testing documentation and QA reports.
- Participate in sprint discussions and release testing.
- Help improve the overall QA and testing process.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Software Testing and SDLC/STLC.
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.
- Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, bug life cycle, severity, and priority.




- Basic knowledge of API testing.
- Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Basic understanding of HTTP methods such as GET, POST, PUT/PATCH, and DELETE.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Positive to Have

- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with Jira or other bug-tracking/project-management tools.
- Basic understanding of Git/GitHub.
- Exposure to performance/load testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development.
- Experience testing a college, internship, or personal software project.
