Birdi Systems, Inc. is a Systems Engineering Consulting firm based out of Pasadena, California and having offices across the US. We specialize in delivering security solutions to critical infrastructure clients in the US which include Airports, Jails, Spaceports, etc. We do both consulting as well as implementation of both physical and cybersecurity solutions.

We have been in operations for nearly two decades now and have set up a Back-end support office in India in 2022. We support the US offices with functional support in the financial/accounting space, software development and engineering as well as for infrastructure.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated QA/QC Analyst to join our software testing team. As a QA/QC Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing and collaboration with development teams. You will play a crucial role in identifying defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and improving the overall user experience of our products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyze and understand the software requirements and develop comprehensive test plan, test scenarios and test cases
- Co-ordinate with stakeholders/ team members to gather the requirements
- Identify test data and execute the test cases effectively
- Identify defects, work with cross functional teams to get them resolved
- Create documentation as per project requirements




- Understand impact of change in requirements to other areas of product and plan test scenarios accordingly
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the QA/QC function
- Develop automation scripts for regression suites
- Provide workflow demonstration to stakeholders
- Participate in Production & go live activities as and when required

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing
- Ability to perform Manual testing on Web & Mobile apps
- Basic analytical skills to analyze and understand the requirements and its impact on the application
- Should have hands on with Test Planning, Test Designing, Test Execution
- Should have hands on with Functional, Non-functional, Regression & Smoke testing
- Should have good experience in API testing,
- Should be able to write SQL queries and perform DB verification
- Should have worked on bug management tools like Jira or any other
- Good understanding of STLC, Testing Methodologies
- Should understand programming languages
- Understanding of frontend & backend integration
- Working knowledge in performance testing would be plus
- Should be aware of current standards followed in software testing industry
- Valuable to have GenAI knowledge in testing activities such as Test case generation, Test data preparation, Automation etc.
- Ability to learn and self-driven
- Excellent communication skills
