Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Consultant with strong experience in Varicent, manual testing, SQL, and enterprise application testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring application quality across functional, regression, integration, and production-support activities while collaborating closely with development, product, business, and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute manual testing activities across enterprise applications and Varicent solutions.

Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

Design, execute, and maintain functional and regression test suites.

Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and validate end-to-end business processes.

Prepare and manage test data for application releases, business-plan transitions, and major application changes.

Perform SQL/MySQL-based data validation and investigate data-related issues.

Identify, document, analyze, and triage defects in collaboration with development and product teams.

Participate in requirement and design reviews and provide QA inputs.

Support application releases, annual/business-plan transitions, and production rollout activities.

Provide post-production support and troubleshoot application-related issues.

Analyze recurring production issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.





Prepare QA status reports and provide actionable insights to project stakeholders.

Mentor junior QA engineers and support their technical and functional development.

Conduct knowledge-transfer and training sessions for new team members.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes, application reliability, and overall product quality.

Required Skills

4+ years of experience in Software QA / Testing / Enterprise Application Testing.

Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing.

Experience with Varicent, preferably Varicent v10.

Requirement Validation

Hands-on experience with SQL/MySQL and data validation.

Experience in Varicent application testing, configuration and validation.

Knowledge of Business Plan / Annual Transition Testing and payout reports.

Experience with production/post-production support.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

Positive to Have

Experience with Anaplan.

Varicent v10 certification.

Anaplan L1/L2 certification.

Experience with Varicent demo/model development.

Experience in code analysis and build configuration.

Experience mentoring QA teams and conducting new-hire training.

Strong knowledge of MS Office / Microsoft tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: From ₹800,000.00 per year
