Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend components using Python and Django for web applications and APIs.
- Build and enhance RESTful endpoints, ensuring correctness, security, and performance.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code aligned with engineering best practices.
- Create and maintain unit/integration tests; support bug fixing and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver features on time.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to refactoring efforts, and improve overall code quality.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, including database queries and request/response latency.
- Support CI/CD workflows and contribute to smooth deployments and release readiness.

Minimum

Qualifications

- BTech (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.




- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python.
- Practical experience building applications with Django.
- Strong understanding of API development, debugging, and writing maintainable code.
- Familiarity with databases, ORM usage, and writing effective queries.
- Experience with Django REST Framework and designing versioned, well-structured APIs.
- Exposure to asynchronous/background processing (e.g., task queues) and performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and release best practices.
- Experience collaborating in Agile teams, contributing to estimations, and owning features end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
