? Role & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and features primarily using Python and Django or acceptable alternatives (Flask/FastAPI). Build and integrate APIs with databases, manage database migrations, and work within a microservices architecture. Utilize AI-assisted development tools and workflows. Collaborate across time zones, participate in PR and design reviews, and demonstrate strong ownership and accountability.

? Project Overview

Focus on backend engineering within Cloud Operations to improve construction productivity through technology adoption. Tech stack includes Python, Django (preferred), Flask/FastAPI (acceptable), Postgres, and AWS services (Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS). Engagement is remote/offsite with a mandatory afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST.

? Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Haves





- 5 years relevant backend development experience with strong Python expertise
- Proficiency in Django framework or solid Flask/FastAPI background
- Experience building scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs within microservices architecture
- Practical experience (~1 year) with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude)
- AWS experience (1-2 years) with Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS prioritized
- Strong understanding of software design and architecture principles
- Commitment to quality, security, performance, ownership, and team collaboration
- Ability to work the specified IST shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) remotely

Nice-to-Haves

- Experience with Postgres and Postgres-related AWS ecosystem exposure
- Exposure to enterprise-scale backend systems
