Role: Project Manager (Purified Water Systems)

Reports To: Director / General Manager

Project Planning

Review PO, contract, URS, technical specifications, commercial terms, and project scope.

Establish project execution strategy.

Prepare project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and procurement plans.

Identify critical-path activities and project risks.

Define responsibilities across Engineering, Procurement, Production, QC, Automation, and Site teams.

Engineering Management

Review and approve project engineering deliverables.

Coordinate P&IDs;, GAs, equipment specifications, BOMs, datasheets, piping layouts, and control philosophy.

Coordinate customer technical discussions and drawing approvals.

Control engineering changes and deviations.

Procurement Management

Monitor procurement of critical equipment and materials.

Review vendor selection and techno-commercial comparisons.

Negotiate with suppliers along with the procurement team.

Monitor delivery of pumps, valves, instrumentation, membranes, piping, tanks, electrical/control components, and other project materials.

Escalate delays affecting the project schedule.

Manufacturing Management





Coordinate manufacturing and fabrication of:

PW generation skids

Pretreatment systems

RO/EDI systems

Storage tanks

Distribution loops

Heat exchangers

Instrumentation/control panels

Monitor production progress against schedule.

Coordinate with QC to ensure inspection checkpoints are completed.

Resolve manufacturing and technical bottlenecks.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure project execution follows approved specifications and applicable pharmaceutical-water requirements.

Coordinate FAT, inspection, testing, and documentation.

Ensure quality documentation is complete before dispatch.

Review deviations, NCRs, punch points, and corrective actions.

Customer Management

Act as the primary project-level contact for the customer.

Conduct project review meetings.

Communicate project progress, delays, risks, and recovery plans.

Coordinate site readiness, installation, commissioning, and final handover.

Manage customer complaints and escalations.

Project Closure

Ensure all punch points are closed.

Ensure final drawings and documentation are submitted.

Coordinate commissioning and customer acceptance.

Complete project handover and lessons-learned documentation.
