Role Description The Purchasing Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Raipur. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and services required for solar PV module production and related operations. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely deliveries aligned with production schedules.

The Purchasing

Manager collaborates closely with manufacturing, quality, finance,



and logistics teams to maintain cost efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with company policies. This role also involves analyzing market trends, assessing supplier performance, and implementing process improvements to optimize the supply chain and support the company’s growth.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and supply chain skills, including vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and inventory control.
- Ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and cost structures, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or related sectors.
- Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems, spreadsheets, and basic data reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Solid organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a purchasing or sourcing leadership role and familiarity with Indian regulatory and commercial norms is preferred.
