Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Prosthetist & Orthotist role based in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi. The Prosthetist & Orthotist will assess patients’ physical conditions, evaluate mobility needs, and perform detailed gait analysis to design appropriate prosthetic and orthotic solutions. Daily responsibilities include measuring and casting, fitting and adjusting devices, educating patients and caregivers on proper use and care, and monitoring outcomes to refine treatment plans.

The role involves close collaboration with medical professionals and technical staff to integrate clinical findings with Instalimb’s 3D printing and machine-learning processes.



The Prosthetist & Orthotist will also document patient care, maintain clinical records, and contribute to continuous improvement of products and protocols.

Qualifications:

- Strong clinical skills in Prosthetics and Orthotics, including assessment, device design, fitting, and follow-up care.
- Ability to perform detailed Gait Analysis to inform device selection, alignment, and functional optimization.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality Patient Care, with empathy, clear communication, and patient education.
- Foundational knowledge of Medicine relevant to musculoskeletal conditions, rehabilitation, and mobility impairments.
- Relevant degree or certification in Prosthetics & Orthotics from a recognized institution.
- Experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting; previous work with lower-limb prosthetics is an advantage.
- Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, technicians, and engineers.
- Basic understanding of or interest in digital workflows, 3D printing, and data-driven technologies in healthcare.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple patient cases on-site.
