Hiring an experienced Property Accountant / GL Accountant with strong hands-on expertise in accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities. The role involves working with property managers, auditors, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Designation: Senior Associate Property Accountant

Responsibilities:

1. Compile and analyze financial information for preparation of financial statements and accounting reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Prepare journal entries for the General Ledger, including reviewing calculations, supporting documentation, and account reconciliations.
3. Handle Accruals, Prepayments, Trade Payables, Debtors, and Revenue reconciliations along with adjustment journals during financial pack finalization.
4. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, resolve audit queries, and provide supporting documentation.
5. Work closely with on-site and property managers for financial pack reviews, journal adjustments, and timely reporting.
6. Review budgets, revenues, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents and resolve discrepancies.
7. Perform bank reconciliations, wire transfers, mortgage payments, and distributions while ensuring accuracy.
8. Prepare monthly P&L;, Actual vs Budget, Variance Analysis, and Balance Sheet along with supporting reconciliations.
9.



Monitor revenue and expenditure trends and support accounting control procedures and expenditure management.
10. Review fixed assets, asset capitalization, and depreciation activities.
11. Prepare financial, accounting, administrative, and management reports as required.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant / GL Accountant, preferably with a global organization.
2. Robust knowledge of General Ledger, R2R, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
3. Hands-on experience with P&L;, Balance Sheet, Accruals, Prepayments, AP, AR, Revenue, and Bank Reconciliations.
4. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
5. Bachelor's degree in B.Com / B.Com (H) or equivalent accounting qualification.
6. CA / ACCA qualification would be an added advantage.
7. Previous experience in UK-based accounting and client management is good to have.
8. Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
9. Knowledge of property management and accounting systems such as Entrata and Yardi would be an advantage.
