Associate Property Accountant- 2+ years - Mohali

We are looking for experienced General Ledger / Record-to-Report Accountants to join a global finance team. The role involves managing general accounting activities, financial reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and property accounting processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities –

1. Prepare and analyze financial information, general ledger entries, journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting reports.
2. Review budgets, revenues, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents and resolve discrepancies.
3. Perform bank reconciliations, wire transfers, mortgage payments, distributions, and other financial transactions while ensuring accuracy.
4. Support property acquisitions, dispositions, closings, budgets, fixed assets, depreciation, and other property accounting activities.
5. Coordinate with property managers, auditors, contractors, and internal teams to support accounting processes, audits, and timely financial reporting.

Requirements –

1. 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant, General Ledger Accountant, R2R Accountant, or in a similar accounting role with a global organization.
2. Qualified Chartered Accountant or a specialized degree in Accounting / Finance.
3. Robust understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, journal entries, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
4. Experience in property accounting, real estate accounting, or related financial operations will be preferred.
5. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail,



and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
