Job Responsibilities

- Proofread content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, typographical, and formatting errors.
- Compare proofs with original manuscripts and identify inconsistencies or missing content.
- Check page numbering, chapter titles, table of contents, captions, references, and illustrations.
- Verify image dimensions, text spacing, layouts, positioning, and overall formatting.
- Check for missing fonts, incomplete content, and technical errors.
- Coordinate with authors, writers, and editors to resolve language and formatting issues.
- Ensure finalized documents are ready for approval and publication.




- Work efficiently across multiple documents under strict deadlines.

Requirements
- Fresher or minimum 2 years of publishing-industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Good command of Hindi and English.
- Strong knowledge of proofreading practices and publishing standards.
- Proficiency in Adobe Reader and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple documents within tight timelines.
