Job Role - Project Manager

Job Type - Full time

Job Location - Mundhwa, Pune The Project Manager (PM) is overall responsible for project execution, operation, and management. The primary objectives are to deliver the project within the approved timeline and budget as estimated by the General Manager (GM) and the Director, while ensuring quality and safety.The PM acts as the key link between the GM, Director, and all site staff.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Staff Management

- Monitor daily attendance of all site staff and share attendance updates with Directors

- Conduct daily planning meetings

- Discuss bottlenecks

- Review progress
- Plan activities for the next day
- Identify and allocate activities to be carried out on off-days.
- Prepare, approve, and implement weekly off and holiday attendance plans.
- Plan and manage replacements for absent staff.
- Observe and evaluate staff performance and punctuality regularly.

2. Drawings & Design Coordination

- Coordinate and communicate with the in-house architect and all consultants as required.
- Ensure timely receipt of GFC (Positive for Construction) drawings well in advance before commencement of any activity.
- Facilitate smooth functioning of the project through proper drawing coordination.

3. Execution, Operation, Management & Supervision

- Conduct daily site inspections during the first 1 to 1.5 hours of the day.
- Monitor work processes and methodologies to ensure compliance with GM/Director's approvals.
- Supervise departmental labour to ensure maximum productivity.
- Pre-plan and ensure availability of all required resources (manpower, materials, machinery) before starting any new activity or item of work.

4. Contractor Management





- Coordinate with contractors regarding manpower strength and workmanship quality.
- In case of issues, attempt resolution twice; if unresolved, escalate to GM.
- Check, verify, and approve all contractor bills.
- Ensure submission of accepted and approved debit notes (by contractor/vendor) along with bills to the Billing Department.

5. Material Management

- Check and verify material reconciliation submitted by the Site Engineer (SE) and compile consolidated reports for the entire project.

- Concrete Reconciliation: Weekly
- Steel Reconciliation: After every two slabs
- Submit reconciliation reports to the GM.
- Check and verify material inward registers and stock balance registers daily and sign them.
- Check, verify, and approve Purchase Requisitions (PRs) raised by the SE.
- Coordinate and follow up with the Purchase Department for delayed material deliveries.

6. Safety Management

- Safety is the primary and preliminary responsibility of the Project Manager.
- Closely monitor and ensure strict implementation of all safety rules and regulations at site.
- Aim to complete the project with zero accidents or minimal near-miss incidents.

7. Quality Management

- Check and verify all test reports, including but not limited to:

- Concrete cube tests

- AAC block tests

- Cement tests
- Steel tests
- In case of any test failure or shortfall:
- Immediately inform GM.
- Ensure that recovery or remedial measures suggested by the Quality Head are effectively implemented at site
- Ensure overall quality assurance to meet end-user requirements.
- Monitor and take ownership of the project's overall quality.
- Check, verify, and sign:

- Cube Test Register
- All relevant quality test reports on a weekly basis.
