Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Project Management

nKey Responsibilities

- Lead multiple automotive NPD projects and manage project plans, WBS, Gantt charts, milestones and critical paths.
n
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchase, Tool Room, Testing, Production, Suppliers and Sales teams.
n
- Drive customer reviews, requirements, approvals, open points and escalations.
n
- Monitor prototype development, tooling, testing, validation, PPAP and SOP readiness.
n
- Identify project risks and issues, maintain action and risk registers, and drive recovery plans.
n
- Manage engineering and customer changes, including their impact on cost, timing, tooling and validation.
n
- Track project budgets, tooling and development costs, supplier milestones,



and prepare management reports.

nRequired Skills

nStrong knowledge of Automotive PDS and APQP

nPPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, DVP&R;, MSA and SPC

nWorking knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA FMEA and VDA 6.3

nProduct development, prototype development, testing and validation

nEngineering Change Management and supplier APQP/development

nProficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project/equivalent

nSAP, PLM/PDM and Power BI will be an added advantage.

nIdeal Candidate

nWe are looking for a qualified with 5–10 years of automotive experience, preferably with 3+ years in NPD / Project Management. Experience with automotive OEM/Tier-1 customers and hands-on APQP/PPAP and product development experience will be valuable.

nPreferred certifications include PMP, APQP/PPAP, VDA FMEA, IATF 16949 Internal Auditor and VDA 6.3.
