Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of Nuclear Projects involving fabrication and precision machining. The candidate must have worked in a similar manufacturing setting and should be experienced in managing complex engineering projects with stringent quality, documentation and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end execution of Nuclear Projects from project initiation through completion and customer handover.

- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, resources, costs and deliverables.

- Prepare, monitor and update project schedules using MS Project and Primavera P6.

- Coordinate with Engineering, Fabrication, Machining, Production, Quality, Procurement, Planning and Inspection teams.

- Monitor fabrication and machining activities against drawings, specifications, quality requirements and project schedules.

- Track critical raw materials, production capacity, machining/fabrication progress and project bottlenecks.

- Identify project risks, delays and dependencies and drive timely corrective actions.

- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide project progress reports / MIS to management.

- Manage customer interactions, inspections, technical clarifications, documentation and approvals.

- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors involved in fabrication, machining and other special processes.





- Ensure proper traceability, documentation, quality compliance and configuration control throughout project execution.

- Ensure adherence to applicable Nuclear Quality, Safety and Regulatory requirements.

- Drive cross-functional teams to achieve project schedule, quality and cost objectives.

Required Experience & Skills

- 10-15 years of experience in Project Management / Project Execution.

- Mandatory experience in fabrication and precision machining-based manufacturing.

- Candidates must have worked in a similar complex engineering/manufacturing environment.

- Experience in Nuclear, Defence, Aerospace or Heavy Engineering projects is preferred.

- Mandatory hands-on proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, monitoring and progress tracking.

- Strong understanding of fabrication, precision machining, production planning, quality and project execution.

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordination skills.

- Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

- Knowledge/exposure to Nuclear Quality standards, ASME or other applicable engineering codes will be preferred.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy or related engineering discipline.

- Preferred: PMP / equivalent Project Management certification.
