About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Lead – Iron Zone to lead and manage mechanical project activities across RMHS, Char Circuit, and Coal Washery. The role will be responsible for mechanical engineering, design review, project execution, erection, commissioning, and project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead mechanical engineering, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for RMHS, Char Circuit, and Coal Washery.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, layouts, equipment details, and engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Develop and monitor mechanical execution plans and ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, consultants, and site teams for smooth project execution and resolution of technical issues.
- Monitor project quality, cost, schedule, specifications, and technical compliance while ensuring timely corrective actions.




- Ensure safe execution of mechanical activities in accordance with EHS standards, statutory requirements, and company procedures.
- Lead and guide the mechanical project team, monitor progress, resolve site-level issues, and provide regular updates to project management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in mechanical project execution.
- Experience in steel plant or heavy industry projects.
- Solid exposure to RMHS, Char Circuit, Coal Washery, or similar heavy-industry projects.
- Proven experience in project execution, engineering review, contractor/vendor coordination, and team leadership.
