A hardware product development organization in the Electric Vehicle (EV) space, working on EV motors, controllers, and mechanical/electrical hardware from design through manufacturing and testing.

About the Role

We're looking for a Project Manager to drive project execution within an EV and hardware product development environment. You'll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Testing, Sales, and Customer teams to keep projects on schedule, well-documented, and moving toward production readiness. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Projects, offering hands-on exposure to EV motor and controller development, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.

What You Will Do

1. Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items across teams.
2. Maintain project trackers, dashboards, status reports, and documentation.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Testing, Sales, Customer) to collect and update project progress.
4. Track BOMs, engineering work orders, prototypes, samples, and production readiness.
5. Track procurement activities, material availability,



and supplier deliverables.
6. Coordinate with testing teams on EV motor, controller, and hardware validation activities; maintain test plans, status, and closure records.
7. Prepare meeting agendas, MOMs, and action trackers, and follow up with owners.
8. Support management presentations and project review dashboards.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, process improvement, lessons learned).

What We're Looking For

1. 5-8 years of experience in project management/coordination, ideally within EV, automotive, or hardware product development environments.
2. Strong interest in and working understanding of EV motors, controllers, and hardware product development.
3. Solid grasp of engineering and manufacturing processes.
4. Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
5. Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills across multiple stakeholder teams.
6. Good analytical and problem-solving ability, with a proactive, ownership-driven attitude.
7. B.E./B.Tech in Production, Mechatronics, Automobile, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline preferred (not mandatory for solid candidates with equivalent experience).
